Second Opinions
We have been brought in for a second opinion on numerous jobs where the solution offered may be the most efficient structurally, but has a significant impact on operations. We have seen the “engineering-only perspective” carried so far as to force the hospital to shut down temporarily during the retrofit or worse, build a new facility. For the six hospitals that we have given second opinions to, we figured out creative alternatives all of which will allow for operations to continue during the retrofit.
